For those that can not take time to attend a live class, the Xactimate
( XM8 ) Self-Paced Training is perfect. The level 1 & level 2 classes have been split into numerous videos to allow short sessions so that any amount of free time can be used. The videos are numerically ordered to follow the live classroom agenda. Level 3 mastery course is also available to improve your skills with advanced techniques. Specialized classes for Interiors only, roofing only, desk adjuster (estimator) & Xactimate Mobile classes also available. The online self-paced training allows students to see how to perform functions one step at a time & follow along one step at a time. The videos were created with the same information as provided in the classroom and are timed so that students have time to follow along (although the videos can be paused, re-winded and replayed as many times as needed). Shortcuts are shown along the way to begin developing speed. Keyword searches are emphasized so that even those without construction backgrounds will be able to find estimate items. The videos are in order and range from 5-45 minutes to accommodate any schedule. The videos were purposely made shorter for easy reference when a refresher is needed or searching a particular item. A one year membership to Crest LLC is included for the course you registered for and the videos will be available for that year so that everyone has every opportunity to really excel at this program without having to repeat the class. The 30 day Xactimate free trial is no longer available from Verisk unless you register for training. But, as Certified Trainers, we can set you up with 30 days of a limited version of Xactimate for your training. When you purchase one of our Self-Paced Training courses, you will be asked of you would like the 30 day limited trial and if so we will help you download it to begin your training. These courses do not include the 320 page workbook & shortcut mouse pad, but they can be purchased separately from Verisk. |

- Fundamentals & Proficiency - Interiors Only - This is equivalent to our 3 day class with the roofing portion removed

I had experience with Xactimate and assumed I would not need the Level 1 class. Boy, was I wrong. Even with Xactimate experience, there are so many things I did not know. I ended up taking Level 1 and Level 2 Xactimate training video classes. The support was the most outstanding! I sent in an email with a question and got a telephone call from my trainer. He offered to hop on a zoom call with me. Who does that??? I was impressed! I highly recommend taking both level 1 and 2 Xactimate training classes. There are many hidden tips and tricks to learn which will make your estimating faster and more accurate. Buying into the Xactimate Training video courses availed me an entire year of access. I sailed through training to earn my certifications. I really enjoyed the self-paced Xactimate training videos which worked perfectly into my busy schedule. Lisa H. How do I know this? When I watch Dateline or 20/20, when they show the arial view of the neighborhoods, instead of wondering who did it, I’m thinking, “Oh my God, the rooflines on that development would be a nightmare!” LOL Re-watching the videos multiple times is so helpful. I have been successful with the first several practice projects. My husband cracks up when he hears me clapping for myself!
